In the late 1960s Joyce Byers created her carolers, inspired by the warmth and timeless traditions that the Christmas season brings. She wanted to design decorations that bring back heartwarming memories and could be collected to build a scene. Beginning with very basic materials that she collected at home, Joyce's carolers are now sold in over 3,000 stores and have become a Christmas classic.
