Make a Rustic Candy Cane Christmas Ornament
Hello friends! I’m delighted to be back with another DIY craft for ChristmasOrnaments.com. Today I’m making a rustic candy cane Christmas ornament using gorgeous, earthy twine.
Steps to Make a Rustic Candy Cane Christmas Ornament
Materials needed :
- floral wire
- hot glue gun
- Christmas ribbon
Bend the floral twine in half and bend into a candy cane shape.
Put a small blob of glue from the hot glue gun at the end of the wire candy cane and stick the twine in place.
Roll the twine up the wire, covering the whole candy cane. I wanted a thick twine candy cane, so I rolled mine a number of times until it was nice and hefty.
Secure the end of the twine with a little glue.
Add a pretty Christmas ribbon and hang your wonderfully rustic candy cane Christmas ornament. I love mine hanging against my window pane. I get a warm Christmassy feeling whenever I look out the window.
I hope you have enjoyed this DIY Christmas ornament craft. I’ll be back soon with another fun and easy Christmas project… be sure to check back regularly.
