Hummel

Hummel figurines began surfacing in Germany in the 1930s. These figurines were based on the sketches and drawings of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel whose innocent children captured the hearts of the world after World War II when they became coveted keepsakes. The tradition has continued with ornaments modeled after the original figurines, each one a nostalgic memory of a more innocent time.
