Reverse Painting Process

The artistic skill and abundance of patience that is required to do these glass balls is unrivaled. The glass is actually clear and the artist uses a special paintbrush to "draw" the outline of the image inside of the glass, lets it dry, then colors in the design, making it come to life, all in the reverse. Because the paint is on the inside, you never have to worry about paint scratching off of the surface with years of hanging on the Christmas tree.
