Young Gymnast - Pose

The gymnast salute pose is taught to gymnasts very early on so they will not forget it at their first competitions. The gymnast does this pose at the beginning and the end of most of their routines. This pose is a salute to the judges and it also signifies when her routine is done. After she finishes her floor routine, vault, uneven bars or balance beam routine, she will be so glad to throw her arms above her head to let everyone know she is finished and did her all-around best! This toddler girl is wearing her red, white and blue leotard with a blue bow tied in her ponytail. If you have a daughter, niece or granddaughter who dreams of being one of the Olympic Fab Five or having her picture on the Wheaties cereal box someday, give her this ornament to let her know that you are hoping all her dreams come true!
